august 10, 2006..12:51 am.!! while i was typing my homework for FON..
my high school memories popped into my stressed mind.!!
and it bursts me into tears.. tears of longing, sadness and fulfillment
.. Longing
in the sense that i really miss my friends a lot...
i miss..
the running every friday for the assembly (prepare your brooms if you're gonna be late!! palimpyuhun mu ni sasing sa pentagon!)
the only legal eating period every ReEd class (religion/values) with mr.alferez and who can forget the ILLEGAL eating sessions we had.
receiving ATTENTION SLIPS for countless violations such as rolling of sleeves, chewing gum, multiple earrings, dyed hair, plucked eyebrows, and not wearing sando!! BWAHAHAHHAHAH
the music classes with mr. garciano! the coolest teacher on earth. the HASSLE-FREE period!
the sharing of one softdrink every lunch break.. (proof: refer to the pic on top.!)
the "pa.gwapa" period every dismissal.. HALA! powder dri, lip gloss did2!
the asking of intermediate papers every test.!! ( 1 whole, 1/2 crosswise, lengthwise, 1/4, and even 1/8)
the first friday mass and the 1st year boys who collects the money..
the "pa.miga" session @ the first year corridors looking for good looking boys (especially, MARC.!)
the exciting & never-ending picture.picture gathering
the comforting time whenever someone's crying because their boyfriend left them..
our very own BROKEN tagalog-bisaya-english language (exclusive in IV-Red classroom only)
the parlor.parlor in the classroom.! from braiding, ironing, curling..to cutting hairs..( i got one last feb.15,2006.. my famous diagonal haircut by ICA.!
and who can forget our retreat! WORDS can't explain! such a wonderful experience!
...etc... (if i'll be listing all the things i missed..it will surely reach up to 10 pages..)
..Sadness
,sad because it might take a lot of years until we see each other again.!!
the kind bleakness where you just want to head off back to the philippines
to see those "shoang" friends again..
but sadly, i can't do that.! i just have to wait for the right time..
someday.. i'll be seeing those guys once more.!
..Fulfillment
the feeling of accomplishment.!
after all the hard work of being a graduating student.!!
the ecstatic idea of surviving the "assassinator" physics teacher.!!
ahahhahahahahahahah
but overall..
it's the HAPPINESS of passing the high school stage of your life..
and moving on towards another phase..
although there's this nervousness that comes to us..
that makes us wonder if we are ready enough to conquer another level in our being.!
but.!!! they're right
..there's no harm in trying.!!
you just have to have the hardwork to really make it to the top.!!
the last year in my high school life was definitely the most memorable one..
during that time..
i learned how to value not only others but also
to value myself.!
